Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Nodalin, including nodalin.xyz and related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using Nodalin, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
1. About Nodalin
Nodalin is a browser-based creative and visual programming platform that allows users to create, remix, render, and share real-time visual projects.
The Service may evolve over time, and certain features may be experimental, modified, discontinued, or subject to change without notice.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Nodalin.
By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and are legally permitted to use the Service under applicable laws.
3. Accounts
Certain features of Nodalin require a user account.
Users may register using:
- Email and password authentication
- Google Sign-In authentication
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for any activity occurring under your account.
4. Free and Pro Plans
Nodalin offers both Free and Pro subscription plans.
Free Plan
The Free plan provides access to all core Nodalin features, with certain limitations, including:
- Export resolution limits
- Restrictions on ultra-quality video bitrate exports
- Time limitations on the External Display feature
- Personal use only
Pro Plan
The Pro plan removes or expands certain limitations, including:
- Higher export resolution capabilities
- Access to ultra-quality export settings
- Extended External Display usage
- Commercial usage rights
Actual rendering and export capabilities may still depend on browser, hardware, GPU, operating system, or encoder limitations.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
Pro subscriptions may be offered on a monthly or yearly basis and automatically renew unless canceled.
Payments are securely processed through Stripe.
Users may cancel their subscription at any time. Subscription access remains active until the end of the current billing cycle.
6. Refunds
Refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
If you believe you were charged incorrectly or experienced a significant issue with the Service, contact: sales@nodalin.xyz
We will make reasonable efforts to assist users and resolve legitimate concerns.
7. Public Projects and Remixing
Projects created using Nodalin are public and remixable by default.
By publishing or saving projects through the Service, you acknowledge and agree that:
- Other users may view, remix, adapt, or build upon your projects
- Remixing is a core part of the Nodalin platform experience
- Shared projects may appear in feeds, discovery systems, showcases, or promotional materials
At this time, users cannot opt out of remixing functionality.
8. Ownership and Licensing
Users retain ownership of the original projects and content they create using Nodalin.
However, by sharing projects publicly through the Service, you grant Nodalin and other users a non-exclusive right to access, display, remix, and share those projects within the platform ecosystem.
Commercial usage rights are granted to active Pro subscribers.
Free plan users may use Nodalin for personal and non-commercial purposes only.
Users are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary rights to any external assets, media, images, GIFs, or content they use within projects.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes
- Upload, share, or reference harmful, abusive, hateful, or illegal content
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service
- Abuse platform resources or exploit technical vulnerabilities
- Impersonate others or engage in fraudulent behavior
- Circumvent subscription limitations or access restrictions
Nodalin reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts or remove projects that violate these Terms.
10. External Content and Third-Party Services
Projects may reference content hosted by external services, including image or GIF providers.
Nodalin is not responsible for third-party content, availability, policies, or services.
The Service may also rely on third-party providers including:
- Stripe
- Supabase
- Google Sign-In
- Plausible Analytics
- Giphy
11. Experimental Features and Service Changes
Nodalin is an actively evolving platform.
Features, rendering behavior, effects, outputs, project compatibility, visuals, export behavior, and APIs may change over time.
We do not guarantee that:
- Features will remain unchanged
- Older projects will always render identically in future versions
- The Service will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted
Users acknowledge that certain features may be experimental or unstable.
12. Availability and Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nodalin shall not be liable for:
- Data loss
- Lost profits
- Project corruption
- Business interruption
- Hardware or browser incompatibilities
- Indirect or consequential damages
Use of the Service is at your own risk.
13. Termination
Users may stop using the Service or delete their account at any time.
Nodalin reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or harm the platform or its users.
14. Privacy
Use of the Service is also governed by the Nodalin Privacy Policy.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Greece.
16. Changes to These Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time.
Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
